Public forum set for Nov. 14

The Board of Selectmen Board of Education Section 66/67 Charter Revision Committee will hold a Public Forum to hear comments on a proposal to change Section 66 and/or 67 of the Town Charter to require a voter referendum on any proposal to change the existence, mode of selection, composition, rights, powers, privileges or duties of the Board of Education. 

Charter change still a possibility for town elections

At a discussion about how Greenwich government works, First Selectman Peter Tesei showed that exploring charter change is not a dead issue yet.

Well, another Election Day has come and gone and, strangely enough, the sun still came up on Wednesday just as it did on Tuesday, no matter who won. And that’s an excellent reminder that it’s time to get to work.
