Greenwich’s First Selectman’s Economic Advisory Committee will sponsor a panel discussion on “Taxing Away Connecticut’s Future” Sunday Nov. 15, at the Greenwich Library.

Frantz: Second largest tax increase in state history is headed your way

State Senator Scott Frantz (R-Greenwich) released the following statement today re: modifications to the $40.3 billion state budget for the next two fiscal years.

Greenwich delegation opposes fiscally irresponsible budget

Greenwich state reps. opposed a controversial spending package which includes $1.5 billion in tax hikes on middle-class property owners, bases revenue on gambling projects like keno, and increases taxes on struggling hospitals.

LETTER: No New Taxes!

Governor Malloy and legislative Democrats have struck a budget deal which will include a number of tax increases on Connecticut’s already over-taxed working families, and do further damage to our economy, employers and job creation.
