State troopers prepare for Thanksgiving holiday travel

Connecticut State Police will supplement its normal routine patrol personnel with additional troopers throughout the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

The deadline to register for Fairfield County’s Giving Day is Feb. 1. Area nonprofit organizations may register at FCGives.org.

Fairfield County’s Community Foundation will hold the fifth annual Giving Day on Thursday, March 1. More than 120 nonprofits have registered for the event.
