YWCA hosts open house for camp programs

Parents of youngsters planning to attend camp this summer are encouraged to join the YWCA of Greenwich on Feb. 3 for a summer camp open house from noon to 3 p.m. at 259 East Putnam Avenue.

Parents and children are invited to attend to learn about the 40-year success of Camp Ta-Yi-To for girls and boys in kindergarten through fifth grade. Two, four-week sessions begin June 24 and offer the most diverse activities schedule of any camp in the area, according to the Y. The YWCA Preschool Summer Camp is also available and “delivers lots of fun for girls and boys age 15 months to four-years-old” according to the organization.

Three, four-week sessions begin May 28, June 24 and July 22 and offer many schedule choices as well as a campus that includes a water playground, sand play area, water park and swimming in a warm water pool. People attending can meet staff, take a tour and view camp gear at this special event. Information and registration packets will also be available.
