Church gets saucy with Spaghetti Creole Supper

If you went to Western Junior High School or Greenwich High School in the 1960s, ‘70s, or 80s, then you probably remember having Spaghetti Creole every Thursday.

Well, if that’s a fond Greenwich memory for you then get ready because the St. Paul Lutheran Church has the original recipe, and they’re serving it up on Jan. 26.

People are invited to join cook Olga Mayores and other members and friends of St. Paul Lutheran Church on Saturday, Jan. 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. for a Spaghetti Creole Supper.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. This ticket includes salad, generous serving of spaghetti Creole, dessert, iced tea and coffee.

A limited number of “to-go” orders are available by reservation by calling 203-253-2327.

Also at the dinner, local author Nancy Prieston will be doing a reading from her book, I’ll Never Leave You, which is based on the true love story of Anna and Dan Jasensky who met in Byram in 1938.
