Horseshoe Crabs and Project Limulus at the Seaside Center

First Sunday Science at the Seaside Center features Horseshoe Crabs and Project Limulus on Sunday, June 4, from 1:30-4 p.m., at the Innis Arden Cottage at Greenwich Point Park, Old Greenwich.

Dr. Jennifer Mattei, Sacred Heart University, will discuss the recent research on these amazing creatures that have been around since dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Discover how horseshoe crabs are faring in Long Island Sound, why they show up on our beaches in spring and why they are so important to the ecology of the marine ecosystem.

Appropriate for all ages. Free.

Marine tank and family activities all afternoon.

For complimentary park admission, arrive no more than 30 minutes before the program and alert the front gate staff that you are attending the First Sunday Science program. For more information, contact Bruce Museum Seaside Center Manager Cynthia Ehlinger at [email protected] or 203-413-6756.
