Greenwich Library offers extended hours for final exams

This month, students looking for a group study space for final exams may come to Greenwich Library and enjoy extended hours. Students in grades 6-12 interested in money management can learn everything they need to know about setting up and maintaining a checking account from the pros at People’s United. These programs are open to all without reservation or charge unless otherwise indicated.

Tuesday, May 30-Tuesday, June 13, Extended Hours for High School Exam Week at the Main Library and Branches

Greenwich Library will once again offer extended hours to accommodate high school students during final exams.

For private school students the Main Library will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30-Thursday, June 1. 

For Greenwich High students, the Main Library will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, Monday, June 12, and Tuesday, June 13. Additionally, the Main Library will be open 1-6 p.m. on Sunday, June 11. (There will be no extended hours Friday & Saturday; regular schedule applies.) Please note that no outside food of any kind is allowed in the Library, including the café seating area.

Library branches will participate for the first time this year with Byram and Cos Cob remaining open until 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 8 and Monday, June 12.   

Thursday, June 15, 6-8:30 p.m., Check it Out: Money Management Workshop for Young Adults

The “Check it Out” Workshop will teach young adults in grades 6-12 what they need to know to open, and use a checking account.  They will learn about the responsibilities involved with having a checking account and ways to save money. Presenter: Leah Reeves, Senior Private Banker, SVP, at People’s United Wealth Management.
