Champion and Notable Tree Walk

Greenwich Tree Conservancy will host a tour of Bartlett Arboretum’s Champion and Notable Trees on Saturday, June 10, at 1 p.m., at Bartlett Arboretum, 151 Brookdale Road, Stamford.

Not often will a person find trees in Connecticut much older than 100 years. The Bartlett Arboretum has more than 20 trees of notable or champion status, many of which were planted by F.A. Bartlett when the property was used as the research laboratory of the Bartlett Tree Company.

Tour will begin on the Homestead terrace.

Rain date is Saturday, June 17, at 2 p.m.

Please note that attendees should enter at the gatehouse on High Ridge Road and park in main parking lot to the right.
