A Christmas Wonderland at Greenwich Shopping Park

Father Christmas, his head elf and a magical Christmas grotto are coming to Greenwich Shopping Park, off Bugsby’s Way in Charlton, on Thursday, Dec. 8.

The Park’s 15 high street stores and restaurants will be open for business as usual as Father Christmas greets children from 3-8 p.m. at this free, festive event.

It will be Santa’s second visit to the Park, offering local children the opportunity to say hello and let him know what they’d like for Christmas.

Sarah Bristow, spokesperson for Greenwich Shopping Park, expressed her delight at welcoming Father Christmas to the Park to spread some festive cheer. “With more than 100 children in attendance at last year’s event, we’ve worked hard to bring even more Christmas spirit to shoppers in south east London this December.

“We are looking forward to welcoming the man himself and hope that this free event will provide plenty of festive magic for parents and children alike.”

Located outside H&M, the magical grotto will offer visitors the chance to meet and have their photo taken with Santa — and children who have been especially nice this year will receive a small gift.

Visitors will be able to find their pictures via the Park’s Facebook page, which is also hosting a series of exclusive competitions during the run-up to Christmas.
