Auditions being held for Little Mermaid Jr.

littlemermaidjrThe Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich’s Theatre Program will hold auditions for its upcoming main stage musical, The Little Mermaid Jr., on Dec. 14, 15 and 16, from 6-9 p.m.

The Little Mermaid Jr. is adapted from Disney’s Broadway production and motion picture, featuring the Academy-award winning musical classic Under the Sea, as well as Part of Your World and Poor Unfortunate Souls.

Performances will take place on April 28 and 29, 2017.

Don Palmer, BGCG Program Director, will produce the musical and Rocco Natale, Executive Director of the Open Arts Alliance will direct the production, along with Ronnie Staplefield, associate producer, Tori Schuchmann, associate educational producer, Jennifer Dunn, choreographer, Kerry Gavin, music director, Jack Kriskey, crew foreman, and Pat Pizzo and Maria Colonnato, set and costume designers.

Young people ages 6-18 are encouraged to audition; the registration deadline is Dec. 13. Auditioners should prepare an a cappella song and be ready to sing as well as read from the script.
