Silent auction to benefit World Bicycle Relief

Signature Cycles of Greenwich will host a silent auction to benefit World Bicycle Relief on Dec. 1, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., at Miller Motorcars McLaren Showroom, 348 W. Putnam Avenue, Greenwich.

World Bicycle Relief is a global nonprofit that distributes high quality, specially designed bicycles to students in rural developing areas.

Signature Cycle’s goal is to provide 700 bicycles to students from funds raised at the event.

The evening will feature a video and photo presentation by Dave Neiswander, president of World Bicycle Relief, that highlights how bicycles have created A Way Forward for girl students, their families and communities in Kenya. In a place where girls face many obstacles just getting to school, a bicycle can transform their lives and allow them to stay in school.

The event also includes cocktails, appetizers, live music by Rosewood, a silent auction and live drawings.

Attendance is limited, so RSVP is recommended:

About World Bicycle Relief

World Bicycle Relief mobilizes people through The Power of Bicycles®. Our Buffalo Bicycles provide simple, sustainable transportation to people in rural developing countries. We envision a world where distance is no longer a barrier to independence and livelihood.

Opportunities to donate (100% tax-deductible) are encouraged and will be presented at the event. Proceeds will be used to provide life-changing transportation through our programs where the need is greatest.

If you are unable to attend the event, consider making a contribution HERE to be entered into our special drawing and help provide 700 bikes to students in rural Africa. You do not need to be present to win.
