Made-To-Order holiday shopping event to benefit Kids in Crisis

Made-To-Order evening holiday shopping event to benefit Kids in Crisis will be held on Thursday, Nov. 10 from 6-9 p.m., at the Optical Shop of Westport, 420 Post Road West, Westport.

Organized by a group of local merchants to benefit Kids in Crisis, the event includes wine and light bites, and custom, made-to-measure and personalized menswear, eyewear, ballerina flats, gifts and more.

Vendors include:

  • Hilburn Menswear — Nancy Carr, Independent Personal Stylist. Custom, made-to-measure and ready-to-wear men’s clothing for every lifestyle. Gorgeous Italian fabrics, personalized construction, and quick delivery for a value no one else can approach.
  • MARGAUX — Ballerina flats handcrafted of Italian leather, and designed for the perfect fit.
  • Optical Shop of Westport — We will design and handcraft a “made to order” custom eyeglass or sunglass frame based on your unique physical attributes and personal style.
  • SPLURGE Unique Gifts, Home Décor, and Jewelry — On-the-spot personalization including travel mugs, tumblers, pens, stationery, backup phone batteries and iPhone cases. SPLURGE will also take orders for a variety of personalized gift items.

15% of the event’s proceeds will be donated to Kids in Crisis.

Kids in Crisis, located in Cos Cob, is Connecticut’s only free, round-the-clock agency providing emergency shelter, crisis counseling and community educational programs for children of all ages and families dealing with a wide range of crises – domestic violence, mental health and family problems, substance abuse, economic difficulties and more. Since its founding in 1978, Kids in Crisis has helped more than 138,000 Connecticut children and families; last year, over 6,384 children and families received assistance from the organization.
