Indoor field hockey clinics

The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that it will be starting Indoor Field Hockey Clinics on Sunday mornings at the Western Greenwich Civic Center. The classes will meet on Nov. 6, 13, 20, 27, Dec. 4, and 11.

Children in grades 1-2 will meet from 9:30-10:30 a.m., and children in grades 3-5 will meet from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

The program will help the players develop skills in stick work, passing, receiving, shooting, basic offensive and defensive skills and small sided games.

The cost for the six sessions is $100.

Mollie Crudden will be instructing the program. Mollie played for Columbia University from 2003-2005. Mollie also is the assistant director of the Town of Greenwich fall field hockey program.
