Audubon Greenwich hosts Haunted Forest and Live Critter Show

Audubon Greenwich, 613 Riversville Road will host a Live Critter Show on Friday, Oct. 28, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and a Haunted Forest on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28 and 29, from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Audubon Greenwich establishes a new Halloween tradition for the second year in a row with family-friendly activities, including a bonfire to share frightening tales and a costume dance party hosted in their Kimberlin Center building. There also will be s’mores and candy.

The Haunted Forest will give visitors a new take on what it means to walk through the woods. The forest trails, normally peaceful during the day, become alive with the supernatural and creatures of the night.

The Live Critter Show will allow visitors of all ages to witness some of the more frightening creatures of the forest such as spiders, snakes, rats and bats. The show not only offers the chance to test how brave you are when faced with these creatures, but also provides a great learning experience about how nocturnal creatures are not as frightening or dangerous as they seem.
