Junior League of Greenwich offers Positively More project

The Positively More project is a community project developed and sponsored by The Junior League of Greenwich, Connecticut, Inc. The project is focused on 11- and 12-year-old girls. It aims to give girls the tools to avoid questionable situations, lessen the consequences of conflicts, and identify lessons learned by challenges.

A young girl can attend one of our four sessions offered at JLG Headquarters between November and April. The sessions run from 9:30-3:30, they are free to members of the community, plus snacks and lunch are served to all who attend. Sessions are Nov. 5, Jan. 28, March 4 and April 29.

Each session will consist of workshops moderated by outstanding professionals including (1) Beth O’Malley, LCSW, ACSW, Psychotherapist and Radio Show host of “Be Well with Beth” WGCH (2) Jenny Byxbee, Manager of the Youth Services Bureau for the Town of Greenwich, (3) Sara Rawson, Occupational Therapist, (4) Yajaira Gonzalez, Community Educator and Bilingual Advocate for the YWCA Greenwich Domestic Abuse Services.
