Coach works to save Harding High wrestling program

According to Warren Harding High Coach Eddie Santiago, $18,000 can save a program that helps change the lives of young men at the Bridgeport school. The City of Bridgeport recently eliminated the wrestling program at  Harding High School due to state budget constraints.

Coach Santiago talked with Frank Granito and Donald Eng on Tuesday, August 16 about how the program can be saved. Watch below:

Supporters of the program have been advised that $18,000  would be able to save the team. Santiago said that  theHarding wrestling team provides a fantastic positive outlet for young men in the community, helping many to attend college. They have set up a GoFundMe page to help the effort and will be out in the community to gain support.
