Show offers aid to parents

Are you the parent of a child that just won’t stop their tantrums? A show on Greenwich’s Channel 79 may be there to help you.

According to its creator, Creating Cooperative Kids offers insight into sometimes challenging child behavior, as well as step-by-step solutions for gaining more cooperation with children 18 months to 18 years of age. Bill Corbett, the show’s host and executive producer, said that this is a talk show for parents and teachers. It can be seen on Greenwich Access Community Television Channel 79.

Using a talk show format, Mr. Corbett, addresses parenting questions, interviews experts, and demonstrates parenting tips for a live studio audience. An author and speaker, Mr. Corbett, focuses the show on rebuilding the discipline toolbox and turning today’s challenging children into cooperative kids.

His book, Love, Limits, & Lessons: A Parent’s Guide to Raising Cooperative Kids, which is available in English and in Spanish, recently received the Parent Tested/Parent Approved award for outstanding products. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of his book are donated to Connecticut’s Network Against Domestic Abuse.
