Author to discuss bullying at library

The Perrot Library in Old Greenwich will host author Eric Kahn Gale who will discuss The Bully Book on Jan. 16 at 7:30 p.m. The Bully Book, based loosely on Mr. Kahn Gale’s own experience as a victim of bullying, is written for middle school-age readers, but is also what the library calls a “must-read” for parents and educators. Kirkus Reviews has described the book as “… a meticulous anatomy of a bullying victim” and “a compelling and unusual look at a complex and intractable problem that succeeds admirably as a story as well.”

Mr. Kahn Gale is a co-founder of StarKid Productions, the company behind the YouTube hit A Very Potter Musical. The library describes him as “incredibly passionate about this project.” His original book trailer has more than 220,000 views on YouTube. He also worked for the Rosie O’Donnell Show as a producer and previously edited films for The Food Network.

The free event takes place at 90 Sound Beach Avenue on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 p.m. For further information about this and other programs, call 203-637-3870 or visit Perrotlibrary.org.
