Top book group facilitator coming to library

The Perrot Library will host highly recognized book group facilitator Esther Bushnell for a discussion on Canada, the new novel by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Ford on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

The New York Times has described this coming-of-age tale as “a masterwork by one of our finest writers working at the top of his form” and now interested readers can hear more about it.

Ms. Bushell is founder of Literary Matters and a book group facilitator whose opinions and perspectives are sought by leading publishers, including Random House, Simon & Schuster and Harper Collins. Previously, Ms. Bushell was a popular English teacher in the Greenwich Public Schools for some 40 years.

Her honors American Literature class was one of the most highly requested courses at Greenwich High School during her tenure.

Ms. Bushell returns to Perrot to lead what promises to be “another lively and enlightening book discussion” accoring to the library.

The library is located at 90 Sound Beach Avenue.
