Early-morning bird walk at Mianus River Gorge preserve

Bedford Audubon’s Tait Johansson will lead an early-morning bird walk on Saturday, June 4, from 7:30-11 a.m.

The old-growth forest of the Mianus River Gorge Preserve holds a suite of interesting breeding birds, including Acadian Flycatcher, Winter Wren, Hermit Thrush, and Worm-eating Warbler.

Level of difficulty: Moderate-Difficult (3-3.5 miles round trip).

Meet at the Mianus River Gorge Preserve parking area, across the road from 167 Mianus River Gorge, Bedford, New York.
