It’s in the bag

The spirit of the holiday season was all over Town Hall on Tuesday as the Greenwich Department of Social Services held its annual Angel Tree. The program provides gifts to families all over town, insuring all kids in Greenwich have a merry Christmas. According to Program Coordinator Alison Brush, this year the department is giving out 600 presents to 400 clients. Presents and money were donated by St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, First Presbyterian Church, the Greenwich Hyatt, Edgewood Travel, Stanwich School, Greenwich Cares (a student group at Greenwich High School) and Starbucks, which is working with the Salvation Army for its Angel Tree program.
