Parks and Rec says get ready to roll

The Department of Parks and Recreation has announced that it will hold a roller skating party at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center on Thursday, Dec. 27.

The session will be offered for children in kindergarten through sixth grade from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The cost to skate is $5 and includes the skate rental if needed. A parent or guardian must accompany children during the session.

Sherry Kline, who runs the popular roller skating program at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center, will also run this program and will direct a fun-filled day of games, contests and skating for everyone.

Tickets are limited so interested people sign up in advance at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center, 449 Pemberwick Road.

If you need roller skates you must sign up by Friday, Dec. 21.
