Brunswick basketball gets first FAA win, beats King, 68-48

The Brunswick School basketball team upped its Fairchester Athletic Association to 1-1 and did it in front of their home fans for the first time this season, beating King School, 68-48.

Henry Taylor finished with 11 points, seven assists, five rebounds and three steals to lead the Bruins’ all-around game. Dylan Wadsworth finished with a game-high 16 points and added nine rebounds.

Teammate Nick Kono pitched in with 12 points and added seven rebounds and four assists, while Teddy Murphy finished with 10 points and equaled that number in rebounds.

The duo of Sam Fraser and Billy O’Malley played tough defense and each finished with three steals.

Brunswick will be back in action when they compete in the Winter Classic Tournament and will face large class A opponents Deerfield and Andover.
