Go purple to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s

During the upcoming Paint the Town Purple Campaign, the towns of Cos Cob, Greenwich and Old Greenwich will go purple to raise awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association CT Chapter’s upcoming benefit, Celebrating Hope, set for April 29, at The Delamar Greenwich. The campaign, spearheaded by Cos Cob resident Mary Kate Donato, Greenwich residents Ginge Cabrera and Sharon Parker and Old Greenwich residents and sisters Kendra Farn and Alison Farn Leigh, will honor the 73,000 people who are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease in CT.

Paint the Town Purple, spearheaded by nine town ambassadors, will unfold throughout six Fairfield County towns, and 300 businesses will display Gardens of Purple in and around their storefronts. The campaign serves not only to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s patients and their caregivers but, also provides a visual countdown to the Celebrating Hope 2016 Benefit (April 29 at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor).
