Friends of Greenwich Point present Scales and Slime: Reptiles and Amphibians

The Friends of Greenwich Point present Scales and Slime: Reptiles and Amphibians Saturday, April 16, from 1-3 p.m.

This free event will include live-animal presentations at 1:30 and 2:30 p.m., at the Innis Arden Cottage located on Greenwich Point.

All ages are welcome.

Visitors will explore the incredible diversity of reptiles and amphibians that inhabit vernal pools and the woods surrounding our homes. From the snakes in woodpiles and stonewalls to the annual march of salamanders to vernal pools, this group of creatures is fascinating to discover and observe.

The Friends of Greenwich Point are sponsoring the Stamford Museum & Nature Center to deliver a day of programming that includes interactive discussions and fun activities.
