ISD 4th graders participate in Risk Taker Living Museum project

International School at Dundee (ISD) fourth graders created a “Living Museum” showcasing risk-taking historical figures  as part of ISD’s International Baccalaureate unit “Worth the Risk.”

Fourth grade students researched various historical figures — each famed for taking risks in social, political, scientific, athletic or other arenas — and then assumed the personas of the characters in a “Living Museum.”

Costumed as their historical figures, students interacted with visitors to the exhibit by sharing information they had researched about the individual, the risks he/she took and the impact of these actions.

ISD 4th graders Connor Glickman, Connor Grant and Tyler Grant assume the roles of famous risk-takers, race car driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr., cartoonist/animator Walt Disney and physicist Marie Curie as part of the school’s Risk Taker Living Museum project.
