Brunswick basketball falls to GFA in opener, 67-48

The Brunswick School basketball team opened its season Saturday night with a 67-48 loss to Greens Farms Academy. The Dragons started the game on a 10-0 run and never looked back.

Although the Bruins trailed 31-20 at the break and were making strides at a comeback, Greens Farms was just too much down the stretch.

Henry Taylor led the way for Brunswick with 12 points. Nick Kono added nine points, while Teddy Murphy added eight points and seven rebounds. Dylan Wadsworth finished with five points, but six of his eight rebounds were from the offensive side of the ball.

With the loss, the Bruins fell to 0-1 on the season and will be back in action Wednesday when they host King School.
