Woman’s Club of Greenwich give local philanthropic gifts

On Thursday, March 17, The Woman’s Club of Greenwich held their Annual Philanthropies Tea to distribute awards to local Greenwich organizations and local scholarships. The Woman’s Club of Greenwich was founded in 1910 to bring together women to promote civic, philanthropic, and educational activities and exert a helpful influence in the community.

Every year, the members of The Woman’s Club of Greenwich volunteer much time and effort to fundraising in order to reach out and help our community. Their efforts culminated by the distribution of financial awards at The Philanthropic Tea under the leadership of Nancy York, Vice President of Philanthropy, and Susan Tattar, Margaret Klumpp, and Nancy York, Co-Chairs of The Woman’s Club Gardeners.
