Spring Fling to benefit Kids in Crisis set for April 1

Olympics theme highlights the night at Greenwich Country Club

The highly anticipated annual Spring Fling: In the Spirit of the Olympics gala to benefit Kids in Crisis will take place Friday, April 1, at 6:30 p.m., at the Greenwich Country Club, 19 Doubling Road. Nancy Armstrong, Gretchen Fedeli, Jami Sherwood and Angela Swift serve as co-chairs for this year’s Olympics-themed event, which will raise critically-needed funds for the shelter, counseling services and community based programs provided by Cos Cob-based Kids in Crisis.

A casually elegant evening awaits guests, featuring live music and a DJ, exquisite food, an incredible silent auction, and an extraordinary live auction. Priceless live auction items include tickets to the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, a night on the famous Ticonderoga yacht, and an internship at AOL. Festivities are set to begin at 6:30 p.m.

The event is expected to sell out early. Tickets can be purchased at www.kidsincrisis.org.

Kids in Crisis (www.kidsincrisis.org) is Connecticut’s only free, round-the-clock agency providing emergency shelter, crisis counseling and community educational programs for children of all ages and families dealing with a wide range of crises – domestic violence, mental health and family problems, substance abuse, economic difficulties and more.
