Children’s author/illustrator Grace Lin visits ISD

Grace Lin, award-winning author and illustrator of picture books, early readers and middle grade novels, including The Year of the Dog, Ling & Ting and The Ugly Vegetables, recently visited the International School at Dundee.

Lin talked with students in grades kindergarten through third grade about the many steps of book publication — from sketch to finish.  She also read to students and lead a ‘draw-along’ of characters from her books.

About ISD

The International School at Dundee was authorized in July of 2003 as an official International Baccalaureate school.  ISD is one of less than 200 IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) authorized schools in the US, and one of only a few elementary schools in Connecticut to receive the IBPYP accreditation.  ISD offers programs for students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
