Memaj promoted to assistant vice president and manager at Webster Bank

Webster Bank announced that Bruna Memaj has been promoted to assistant vice president and manager of its Greenwich, Conn., banking center at 85 Mason Street.

Memaj joined Webster in 2008 as a part time teller in the Westport office and quickly became full time before being promoted again to the Norwalk office where she held a series of positions with increasing responsibility. In 2012, the Norwalk resident was promoted again — this time to assistant banking center manager in Greenwich.

“Bruna lives up to her customers and communities every day,” said John Habermann, senior vice president, market manager at Webster. “She has deep and meaningful relationships with the business community and a keen sense of outreach. She speaks four languages — Albanian, Greek, Italian, and English — which is a differentiating factor for Webster and strengthens her connections to individual and business consumers, to help them reach their financial goals.”

Webster Bank is a leading regional bank serving businesses and consumers in the northeast.
