Saint Paul Church prepares for Advent

Popular preacher Father Andy O’Reilly is coming to Greenwich to host a mission for three evenings at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in town.

The church has announced that The Compassionate Life: Three Evenings with Father Andy O’Reilly, an Advent Mission, will be held at the church on Monday, Dec. 3 to Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

The mission series is free and open to the general public. Refreshments will be served. The church is located at 84 Sherwood Avenue

“Advent is a time of preparation each year for the coming of Christ at Christmas and the start of the liturgical year in the Roman Catholic Church,” said Rev. Frank Allen Winn, Pastor of St. Paul.

“It’s a perfect time to rekindle one’s relationship with God and we believe the mission has the potential to transform the lives of our parishioners. Father Andy is extremely inspiring and down to earth.”

This mission is presented through special arrangement with Fr. O’Reilly’s parish ministries.

Topics that will be covered over the course of three evenings of the event series include living with God’s compassionate and unconditional love, living with the challenges and pain of life and living with the people of God.
