Deck the halls with the Garden Education Center

Jump start your holiday season next week with holiday programs presented by The Garden Education Center of Greenwich (GEC).

On Monday, Dec. 3, join Emmy Ogden and Wendy Serrell as they provide you with a variety of lush holiday greens and winterberries, then help you create festive inserts for your outdoor planters.

The cost of the event is $100 per pot for members and $125 for non-members and takes place at 130 Bible Street.

Then on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m., join GEC for their annual outreach event in which more than 100 wreaths are arranged for Inspirica residents, formerly St. Luke’s Lifeworks, who would not otherwise have holiday decorations. No talent or experience is needed, but GEC is asking participants to please bring a big heart and help decorate at 130 Bible Street. A light lunch will also be served. A donation of $20 is required to cover cost of materials.

Pre-registration is required for both activities.

To register for these programs, visit GECGreenwich.org or call 203-869-9242.
