Tag sale, holiday boutique – Shop locally this season at PTA event

If you’re looking for a fresh place to buy holiday gifts this year, try the Western Middle School PTA’s first tag sale and holiday boutique on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

In addition to a traditional tag sale, the school’s holiday boutique will feature plenty of vendors for people looking for those special items. For more information on the holiday boutique contact Hillary Clifford at [email protected]

The Western Middle School PTA has also received a “generous donation” of designer clothing and shoes from a NYC high-end fashion icon to be sold at a deep discount at the sale.

In addition, the PTA is asking for further donations. Parents and community members who would like to support the tag sale may drop off items at Western Middle School, 1 Western Junior Highway at the “pod” by the school cafeteria on Saturday Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesday Dec. 5 from 7 to 8 a.m. and from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

Please note that used stuffed animals, bulky items, such as furniture and old TV sets, outdated electronic or other equipment, anything ripped, stained or torn, and encyclopedia sets will not be accepted.

All proceeds from the tag sale and holiday boutique will be used to fund programs at the school which include author visits, school assembles, sixthgrade ice cream social, seventh grade dance, eighth grade promotion ceremony, grade level picnics, Hallowestern dance and other PTA and community events.

For more information contact PTA President Kati Bennett at [email protected]

The school will offer a tag sale early bird entry at 8 a.m. on Dec. 8 for a fee of $10.
