Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation hosts Focus on a Cure fund-raiser

The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation’s Fairfield/Westchester chapter will be hosting their annual Focus on a Cure fundraising reception, formerly known as Cocktails for the Cause, on Saturday, March 5, from 7-11 a.m., at Hyatt Regency Greenwich, 1800 E Putnam Ave, Old Greenwich.

During the event, the organization will honor Dr. Neal Schamberg, who will receive the Suzanne Rosenthal Humanitarian Award; Steven Marder, who will receive the Ochs Volunteer Award; and Nate Essigs, who will receive the Rising Star Award.

The event will showcase a new video featuring patients and families from the area and experts talking about all the great work CCFA is doing to help find treatments and cures. It will be followed by a live auction via Fund the Mission, where attendees will have the opportunity to make donations. Donations can also be made online through our event website and on-line silent auction site hosted by GiveSmart. In addition, attendees will be able to purchase raffles, one for a Peloton bike and one for a Chanel bag. Funds raised during the night will be used to support CCFA mission activities including research and education initiatives.
