Stanwich Saints kings of Greenwich Flag Football League

The fifth and sixth grade Stanwich Saints defeated the Julian Curtis Broncos 14-0 in the the first Greenwich Flag Football School League Superbowl on Saturday, Nov. 17.

The Stanwich Saints were part of a new league organized by the Greenwich Flag Football League this Fall, with six teams in the fifth through sixth grade division, each representing their local schools. The division had teams from Julian Curtis, North Mianus, North Street, Stanwich School and two teams from Parkway.

The Stanwich Saints finished the season with a 7-1 record and defeated the Parkway School Steelers 26-14 in the semifinals on their way to their Superbowl victory.
