Sunday Afternoons Live concert series continues

The popular concert series, Sunday Afternoons Live continues this Sunday, Feb. 21, at 4 p.m., at The First Congregational Church in Old Greenwich with A Concert of Vocal Music with Drew Seigla and Gianna Barone. Held in the acoustical splendor and intimate setting of the First Congregational Auditorium, admission is $20 per person (school-aged youth free) and light refreshments will be served. Tickets are available at the door.

Drew Seigla, tenor and Gianna Barone, soprano, accompanied by pianist, Ben Houghton, will take you on a journey through some of Broadway’s classic love songs and duets. Come hear the intoxicating power of love, the challenges it faces, and the gratification of love’s bounty. All three performer hail from Richmond, VA and are now professional performers in New York City. Drew is the tenor section leader at First Congregational Church and stars in the longest-running Broadway musical The Fantasticks and Gianna is a recent graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music.

The 2016 season then ends on February 28 with ‘Scape Trio.

Joseph Dermody, Adriana Maria Pera, and Nicole Sharlow had been performing in and out of New York City for over a decade when they established ‘Scape Trio in 2007. This trio will perform some of the great masterworks for strings.
