Greenwich Hospital holds Taste of the Towns preview

Greenwich Hospital officials held a preview party to introduce members of the press to many of the 38 chefs and beverage distributors who will be participating in the upcoming Taste the Towns fundraiser on Friday, March 4 at The Stanwich Club.  The afternoon kick off took place at popular Greenwich eatery and Taste the Towns participant, Ristorante Firenze.  Event Chair Geri Corrigan and members of her planning committee were also present, as well as event sponsors and benefactors.

During the reception, Norman G. Roth, president of Greenwich Hospital, acknowledged the three local emergency medical service providers who will be honored at Taste the Towns.  Greenwich Emergency Medical Service, Port Chester-Rye-Rye Brook Emergency Medical Service, and Harrison Emergency Medical Service will receive special recognition for their commitment to positively impacting the health of the community.  “We are grateful for the lifesaving, pre-hospital medical care these organizations provide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year,” said Roth.

A Culinary Feast

A fresh new vibe on Greenwich Hospital’s long-time favorite event Great Chefs, Taste the Towns promises an abundance of flavors and gourmet specialties sure to please every palate.  Expected to draw a sellout crowd of 300 guests from Fairfield and Westchester counties, the fabulous food will be paired with creative drinks and fine wines supplied by area distributors.  Guests will also be treated to an enticing array of auction packages while dancing the night away to the sounds of DJ Flip.
