Greenwich Senior Center seeks support for Bell Choir

The Greenwich Silvertones Choir, who has brought enchanting musical entertainment to the community for the past 20 years, is now looking to expand their talents in organizing a Bell Choir.
Under the direction of Pamela Kuhn, an accomplished vocalist and musician, the Choir is composed of members of the Senior Center, located on Greenwich Avenue. They have sung not only for their own enjoyment, but have volunteered their time entertaining numerous school children, nursing home residents, church groups and local clubs. A highlight of their busy schedule is performing at the Junior League’s Enchanted Forest, where they have performed for many years.
Under the direction of Kuhn, the Center is anxious to organize a Bell Choir, which will not only provide the community with its lovely music, but will also offer the members a new
and exciting learning challenge. The soon to be formed group will, like the Silvertones Choir, be looking forward to entertaining the community, but they need our help!
The cost to purchase the bells is $7,000 and $3000 has already been acquired. If you are interested in helping us reach our goal please make a donation to The Friends of The Greenwich Senior Center. They are a nonprofit 501-C3 group located at 299 Greenwich Avenue which has been established to raise awareness of the needs of the Towns senior citizens, and then meet those needs through programming, food services and socialization. Any dollar amount will be greatly appreciated, and you will
be rewarded when you attend one of the delightful Bell Choir concerts and hear the
beautiful music. Please help support the “Beauty of the Bells!”
