Friends of Greenwich Library to present a musical for all ages

The Friends of Greenwich Library will present Theatreworks USA’s production of Junie B. Jones, on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. in the Cole Auditorium.

Outspoken, lovable Junie B. Jones is the star of a musical about new friends, new glasses, sugar cookies, the annual kickball tournament and other various first-grade angst-ridden scenarios. People watching the show can follow her adventures as she writes down the story of her life in her “Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal.” This new musical is based on Barbara Park’s Junie B. Jones series of books and has been called “ colorful, funny and fast-paced.”

The 60-minute musical is appropriate for children ages four and up, and is free and open to all. Assigned seating tickets are limited to six per person and will be available at noon on Nov. 17 at the auditorium. Doors open for the performance at 1:50 p.m. For more information, contact the Friends office at 203-622-7938.
