Mardi “Bra” event to benefit Neighbor to Neighbor

The new Neighbor to Neighbor initiative, The Undies Project, will hold its inaugural Greenwich-wide community bra drive, “Mardi Bra,” to collect donations of new and gently used bras from Feb. 2-9. The mission of The Undies Project is to provide new, unused underwear to Greenwich-area residents in need to improve their lives.

Underwear is the most under-donated, and most needed, item of clothing that many of us take for granted.

From Feb. 2-9, donations of new and gently used bras may be made at the following locations: Aux Delices (Greenwich & Riverside), Eastern and Western Greenwich Civic Centers, all Greenwich Fire Stations (Central Greenwich, Cos Cob, Byram, Glenville, Sound Beach, Roundhill; Banksville; North Street), Splurge, Threads & Treads, Upper Crust Bagel Company, YMCA and YWCA. Donations may also be dropped off during regular donation hours at Neighbor to Neighbor.

For more information contact Nancy Coughlin [email protected], Laura Delaflor [email protected] or Lucy [email protected]

All donations received will be distributed through Neighbor to Neighbor.

Neighbor to Neighbor is a Greenwich-based, volunteer-driven nonprofit organization improving lives by providing for the exchange of food, clothing and basic living essentials in an atmosphere of kindness and respect. For more information visit
