Fathers Forum on Saturday

The Fathers Forum has a new program set for this Saturday, Nov. 17, when it presents Developmental Assets that Help Our Children Thrive.

The program will be led by Diane Hobbs, a certified active parenting facilitator, and Kathy Steiner, a wellness education teacher. Attendees will hear about how fathers can support their children through active positive communication, teach kids responsibility and integrity and build children’s self esteem, along with much much more.

The program will be held at the YMCA Greenwich on the third floor. Coffee will be available starting at 8 a.m. and presentations will be from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. The event is open to the public.

This event is co-sponsored by Liberation Programs/Greenwich Family & Youth Options. The Fathers Forum’s mission is to “provide Greenwich dads with information and skills to help them make the best, most enlightened choices in developing relationships with their children for the purpose of protecting the children from high-risk behavior.”
