Greenwich Tree Conservancy hosts winter walk

The Greenwich Tree Conservancy will host a one-hour stroll through Montgomery Pinetum led by Town Tree Warden, Bruce Spaman on Sunday, Jan. 24, from 2-4 p.m., at the Garden Education Center, 130 Bible Street, Cos Cob.

Experience the forest landscape in winter. After the walk, at 3 p.m., refreshments, including nuts and fruits from our trees, will be served, and  an explanation of the Tu BiShvat annual New Year of the Trees Festival will be given by the Greenwich Reform Synagogue rabbi. Children can enjoy a craft project of making pine cone bird feeders at the same time.

All residents are welcome, there is no charge for walk, but please reserve a spot at [email protected]
