Family Centers names Diaz manager of new health clinic

Family Centers announced that Tom Diaz has been named manager of its new Federally Qualified Health Clinic in Greenwich. In his new role, Diaz will oversee the day-to-day operation, strategic implementation and management of the clinic.

Called Family Centers’ Healthcare at Wilbur Peck Court, the clinic will provide primary healthcare services to children and adults living in Greenwich Public Housing units, Section 8 housing and the surrounding neighborhoods.  In time, it’s expected the clinic will also offer mental health and dental services.

The clinic is located at the Greenwich Housing Authority’s Wilbur Peck Court public housing community, and is expected to open in early Spring.

Diaz has more than 10 years of healthcare management experience, having held positions at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, HealthQuest, Western CT Medical Group, and Bronx Lebanon Hospital.  He has also managed Federally Qualified Health Clinics for Community Health Center, Inc. and the Institute for Family Health.

Diaz earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Long Island University and a Bachelor’s degree from Quinnipiac University.  He lives in Ridgefield.
