Cycling Posture and Pedaling Technique

(Class will be taught in our CompuTrainer Studio)

Wednesday, January 27th 1pm – 2:30 pm

Saturday, January 30th 10:00am – 11:30am

Most of us learned to ride a bike as a child….with a little support, a running start and a push we were encouraged to “pedal, pedal, pedal!” With that introduction we were off and pedaling and from there we developed our own style and technique. Like all other sports, there is a proper way to sit on a bike and there is an evolved pedaling technique. Using the Computrainer Spin Scan Analysis we will explore how our posture effects power output and pedal stroke efficiency. We will also discover which cycling muscles we are using, which are dominant and which are dormant. With coaching you will learn to improve your cycling posture and develop a more efficient and powerful pedal stroke. Better posture and a proper pedal stoke mean more comfort, more efficiency, more power….and more speed! ($40)
