Living Well in Later Life  

For individuals 70+ to talk with peers about the opportunities and challenges this stage of life presents. Topics covered will include how to maintain and manage health, manage independence with family members including adult children, continue to be involved in meaningful activity, and cope with mourning and loss. Facilitated by Barbara Lehrman, LCSW Thursdays, 2:30-3:45 p.m., Jewish Family Services of Greenwich, One Holly Hill Lane, Greenwich.

Reversal of Fortune

Financial challenges bring with them stressors that can affect everything in your life — your relationships, your self-esteem, your outlook, and even your marriage. In these tough economic times, you are not alone. Come and share your thoughts; get some ideas, tips, and strategies to cope with the practical as well as the emotional issues associated with reversals of fortune. Facilitated by Mary Karlan, LCSW Mondays, 5:30-6:30 p.m., at Jewish Family Services of Greenwich, One Holly Hill Lane, Greenwich. This group is being sponsored by an anonymous donor.
