First Niagara donates more than $215,000 to local organizations

First Niagara Financial Group (Nasdaq: FNFG) has contributed more than $1.3 million in charitable grants and donations in 2015 to nearly 130 organizations throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.

In Fairfield County, First Niagara’s charitable giving totaled $215,000 to more than 40 organizations, including:

  • Americares, Inc.
  • Boys & Girls Club of Stamford
  • Bridgeport Public Education Fund
  • Cardinal Shehan Center
  • The Ferguson Library
  • Neighbors Link, Stamford
  • Norwalk Community College
  • Sacred Heart University
  • Westport Country Playhouse
  • The Workplace, Inc.
