The Jewish Board will hold a dedication ceremony of The Mann Center, formerly known as Linden Hill, a 64-bed Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) in Westchester on Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 6-8 p.m., 500 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, New York.

The facility is for adolescents, ages 12 to 21, with severe psychiatric conditions who have been referred by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH). The Mann Center provides residents with intensive therapy, individual, family and group psychotherapy, special education, and vocational training during their stay, which averages nine to 11 months.

The dedication celebrates Anthony E. Mann, his wife Sally, and their four children Alexandra, Isabelle, Strauss and Georgia. The Mann family lives in Greenwich. A longtime trustee, former Jewish Board President, and current Chairman, Mann has been involved in the organization for over 25 years, starting as a volunteer for a youth program. Additionally, he is the founder of The Hudson Valley Bike Ride, which has raised more than $5 million since its inception in  support of the human services agency’s vital work in acting as a safety net by providing health and human services for all New Yorkers.

Special guests include Sally Mann and Anthony E. Mann.

For more than 140 years, The Jewish Board has been helping individuals to realize their potential and live as independently as possible.  With hope and resilience guiding its work, The Jewish Board promotes recovery by addressing all aspects of a person’s life, including mental and physical health, family, housing, employment and education.  Each year, the nonprofit organization serves more than 43,000 people of all ages across the five boroughs and at a campus in Westchester.
