Curious Worlds: The Art & Imagination of David Beck, film screening and Q & A with producer Olympia Stone Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 7-8:30 p.m., at the Bruce Museum, 1 Museum Drive.

Curious Worlds: The Art & Imagination of David Beck pulls back the curtain on the singular artist David Beck: a master sculptor, carver, and miniature architect who works in a fantastical genre all his own. Beck lived in New York City on the edge of destitution, but eventually found gallery representation and established a following of enthusiasts. His pieces have been shown at the MET and the Guggenheim, but to the larger public he is virtually unknown.

This screening is free to the public and no advance registration is required.
