Frantz: Tod Laudonia running a lean operation, getting results

FI-Letter-to-the-EditorTo the Editor:

While most of us wouldn’t consider paying our tax bills as fun, it sure is nice to know that Tod Laudonia, the very decent, rational person in charge of tax collection at Town Hall, is running again for Tax Collector.

The Town of Greenwich is indeed lucky to have great leadership at all levels in local government, especially in the office of the Tax Collector where you will find that Tod has not only brought to the organization excellent leadership in improving efficiencies, but also brought something missing from most tax collectors offices: empathy.

Tod is running a lean operation and turning in results that are the envy of the rest of the towns in the State of Connecticut. He takes great pride in his job as well as in his team every day of the week and has earned the respect of not only his peers in other towns, but also that of leadership in the various tax collection associations throughout Connecticut and the Northeast. He currently serves as vice-president of the Fairfield County Tax Collector’s Association and teaches courses to tax collectors from all over the state.

We’re lucky to have Tod running again, and please join me in supporting him on November 3.

Scott Frantz

State Senator, 36th District
